Connecting with Nature: Adventure Day at Parker Canyon Lake

This past Saturday, July 13th, our youth and their families had an incredible day at Parker Canyon Lake! Everyone enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with pedal boats, kayaking, and paddle boarding, making the most of the stunning weather. After some fun on the water, we set off on a refreshing hike to explore the local trails.

The day concluded with an enlightening talk from our friend Erick Mesa about nature and the importance of our borderlands. It was a perfect way to deepen our connection to the environment. We also shared a delicious meal of hotdogs, bringing everyone together for some good food and great conversations.
